1. Data Controller
Prince Holdings LLC (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through Knight Leads. Contact: aidan@knightleads.com.
2. What We Collect
Account data: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account. We store your source configuration, scoring preferences, and usage metrics to provide the service.
Lead data we generate: We discover business leads from publicly available posts on startup communities, product directories, and launch platforms. We extract product domains, business names, and descriptions from public listings. Email addresses are sourced from publicly accessible web pages and verified through third-party validation services.
Support data: If you contact support, we store your email and message to respond to your request.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the following bases under GDPR:
- Contract: Account data is processed to provide the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interest: Lead data is generated from publicly available information to provide our lead generation service. Individuals whose data appears in leads can request removal at any time.
- Consent: Optional communications, if any, are sent only with your consent.
4. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and does not track you across other sites. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. We also store a theme preference in your browser's local storage.
5. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate Knight Leads:
- Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication, database, and hosting.
- Stripe: Payment processing for paid plans. Stripe processes your payment information directly; we do not store card details.
- Email validation services: We verify email addresses found on public web pages using third-party validation APIs.
Each processor has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.
6. Data Retention
Account data and leads are retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data (profile, leads, blocked domains, configuration) is removed immediately. Support tickets are retained for 90 days after resolution.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: View your data in the dashboard and export your leads via CSV.
- Rectification: Update your email and password from the Account page.
- Erasure: Delete your account and all data from the Account page, or request removal of your information from our lead database at /removal.
- Portability: Export your leads as CSV from the dashboard.
- Objection: If your email or domain appears in our lead database and you object to its processing, submit a removal request. We process removals within 72 hours.
8. California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, submit a request at knightleads.com/removal or contact us at aidan@knightleads.com.
9. Data Broker Disclosure
Knight Leads generates and provides business contact information sourced from publicly available data. We are a data broker under applicable law. Individuals whose information appears in our database may request removal at knightleads.com/removal.
10. International Transfers
Our Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We rely on standard contractual clauses and our third-party processors' compliance frameworks (Google Cloud, Stripe) for lawful data transfers.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
